So yesterday I headed to Sloane Square, Chelsea, to check out what London Fashion Weekend had to offer.
Held in the rather gorgeous Saatchi Gallery surrounded by some of the best high street offerings such as COS, The Kooples and Massimo Dutti, it was transformed into 3 floors of fashion heaven with industry talks, catwalk shows, pop up shops and prosecco. What more could a girl want?!
After collecting my complementary Mary Kateantzou tote bag (which will be getting an airing when the government introduce the tax on the carrier bags 5 October!) I headed in search of the designer gems.
Some standouts were the striking Antipodium, the classic Baukjen, the very cool Muubaa leather jackets and the beautiful dresses from Pyrus.
I took advantage of the special fashion menu at the Gallery Mess Restaurant and indulged in a welcome glass of raspberry and passion fruit fizz.
Fuelled and ready for the Issa catwalk show I was intrigued to see what Kate Middleton's much loved label had in store .... Fringing (of course), tribal prints and beautiful cocktail dresses.
Although my credit card didn't get an airing I had a fab day and if you are at a loose end this weekend, tickets still available and it is on until Sunday 27th September.
